The inspiration for this collection was the Bruce Masefield Hair hashtag #thebeautyisinthewoman.
The hair is undone with unexpected detail, creating sensitivity that looses nothing of the individuals character and persona.
Short paperboy crops and Rei Kawakubo 1981 inspired Comme des Garcon crops gave a jumping off point to Lara’s hair, Groomed but not contrived.
The longer hair is inspired by the 1960’s Parisian singer-songwriter Françroise Hardy. The simplicity of the chic french singers look was the at the centre of Ellie and Tessa’s hair feeling.
Our belief is that our craft sits firmly in the beauty arena. We have aimed this collection to be inspirational but attainable to all modern women that value a effortless, easy beauty aesthetic.
Bruce’s chic, effortless aesthetic gave birth to these beautiful images in collaboration with the Wella System Professional styling brand.
These perfectly done but undone beauty images could comfortably grace the pages of any editorial, fashion magazine. “Working alongside the System Professional styling brand team was a truly collaborative creative experience, a relationship that we are extremely proud of” said Bruce.
